Through a work of latent photography, but also of awakening and updating personal archives, 952 photographs are presented, taken from different cameras, each with its own materiality, weight and size. The photographs are raw, unedited and unformatted, and superimposed one on top of the other.

01: Caractérisation, 2024
01: Caractérisation, initially based on materials science, is used here to analyze the properties of a photograph using the tools used to create it, in this case some twenty digital compact cameras and smartphones among others, and to identify specific material characteristics via the megapixels on the sensor. For the time being, corpus 01 comprises 4 phases of research of research : shooting, archiving, shooting-specific computer data and camera data. The subject, a rock, is the same for all pictures, with the same parameters and lights during the shoot.
